Jamia Arabia Imdadul Uloom Faridabad Madrasah ( English : Jamia Arabia Imdadul Uloom Faridabad Madrasah ) is the oldest and largest Islamic school in Dhaka city. One of the leading Islamic educational institutions in Bangladesh.

According to 1375 Hijri in 1956, Shamsul Haque established Faridpuri Madrasa. Named after Haji Imdadullah Muhajire Makkir . The first murabbi and mutawalli of this institution was himself and the Muhtamim was his classmate Muhammadullah Hafezzi Huzur . Befaqul Madarisil Arabia Bangladesh was established in 1978 in this madrasa and the head office of BEFAK was also in this madrasa for almost a century since its establishment.

Madrasa is located in Gandaria area of ​​old Dhaka on the banks of Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh . Total Area of ​​Madrasah: 4.6 Acres. There are four buildings around the Belal Mosque on the west side. Eight multi-storied hostels and educational buildings. Apart from two open libraries, there are separate libraries for fatwa section and monthly blessings.

Education system

More than two and a half thousand students are studying here in Maktab, Hefzkhana, Kitab department and Fatwa department. Along with studies, students' morals and self-improvement are also given equal importance.

A monthly magazine called Neemat is published as the mouthpiece of this madrasa. Shamsul Haque Faridpuri founded it in 1937; But its publication was stopped in 1991. It is being republished from 2013 after 21 years. The executive editor of the newspaper is Mutiur Rahman.
